My wife says I have too many hobbies which is true. Spent twenty years in the Marine Corps as a sniper, JAG, infantry, and radio communications. Then got into computers and taught at various colleges for 17 years, retired again and then got back to my first hobby which was astronomy. I built my first 8" reflecting telescope at the age of 16. Had to have a 50 gallon drum full of sand in the living room in order to grind my first mirror which was a six week task but well worth the effort. To view the planets and nearby galaxies and nebula was breath taking. Now I am back into this hobby, I picked up this somewhat technical book and for beginners it might be a bit much. But there are other books that will take you from beginning to end in understandable terms. But don't over look this book as it is a treasure trove of information that you will want as youf telescope making skills improve. This book is based heavily on dobsonian telescopes which are probably the easiest to build but still provides the technical math and details if you want to go further, My goals is astrophotography, a motorized equatorial mount that will follow the path of any object through the sky resulting in fantastic photos. And with digital equipment, including cameras, the results are phenomenal.

Love it! It is of great value as I build my 21.5 inch Dobsonian!!!!! In the end I'm going to have a much better telescope because of this book.

What a great book ! We've tried about 8 recipes so far and my daughter has loved every one of them - even some of the unusual ones with lamb and tomatoe or pumpkin/ lamb. We are planning on trying a lot more! My only suggestion is pay attention to the serving size- for making ahead and freezing for the month often times I had to quadruple the recipe or even more, otherwise you'll end up with only a little meal or two. This book is a must for making your own baby food .

the only resource you will need for making baby food!Dont spend hours on pinterest, like i did.get this book and learn how to quickly fix and store baby food for your kid at different stages of development.two thumbs up!

I had first purchased this book when my son was a few months old ( he is now 6!) It starts off with helpful info on organic eating and all the benefits,tips and tricks for purchasing and stalking up the pantry and storing/freezing foods to get the most life out of your foods. All the tricks for hassle free prep. Some of the recipes are no brainers for some. However I found for myself as a new mom in this book there is far more food options and combinations that i would never have thought about giving my son and it was Great to be able to broaden his pallet and the awesome thing is it breaks it down into age appropriate chapters and makes it easier to know when you can introduce new foods and textures.Once my son was done with this book my sister used it when she had her baby and then she gave it back to me to use with my now 16 month old! We are now passing it o to a dear family friend who has a new born. Everyone just loves how useful this book really is!

I love the way this cookbook is organized. It is broken down into months so you know what your kiddo can/should be able to eat. I made several of these the day I received this cookbook and am very happy. My little man loves to try the new flavors and combos of flavors. I like being able to make my own baby food so I know what he is eating.

Wow, what can I say, this is such an amazing book loaded with fantastic recipes that are super easy to make and great instructions. It makes me wonder why I don't have the common sense to think of tsome of these myself! We all like to snazzy up our foods and meals and here is a great instruction book to do the same for our precious wee ones!!I ordered this at 2:00 pm on Tuesday and it was delivered to my door at 4:00 pm on Wednesday. Wow!!

Layout is not at all appealing or engaging to follow. I have found many other alternatives I enjoy much more.

This book has great easy and fun recipes for your 6 month old. There is a lot of intro to organic food in the beginning if you need pointers on that, otherwise flip to the recipes and get started! I like that the book does not call for lots of gadgetry. It says things like "mash with a fork". It also lists recipes as good for the whole family, superfood, and easy to freeze.

I'm a new mom so any guidence is awesome but this book falls a bit short for me. I was excited to see what the enchanted apple recipe had.. it's just cooked apples pureed, I might be new but this is just common knowledge.
